On May 23, 2014 the International Luxury Business Association organized a debate on French “Art de vivre” in Paris.

It is an expression that has flourished since long. In the globalized world, does it still make sense? Does the specificity of the ‘Art de vivre French’ still exist? If so, what does this expression evoke in the minds of the consumers? Is this fantasy coherent across countries? Can it be compared to those generated by other countries?

“Luxury 2025”

On March 20, 2014 the International Luxury Business Association organized the 5th Edition of Luxury-Outlook entitled ‘Luxury 2025′, a full morning conference in order to better understand the impact of emerging technologies (3D-Printing, Big Data, Internet of Things, …) on product creation, manufacturing and distribution patterns; reflect on the induced changes in luxury consumers’ expectations and values; to question how luxury can take advantage of these technologies and anticipate transformations in product communication and retail.
